SAIS - the Southern Association of Independent Schools - holds several new teacher workshops or seminars each summer. As a presenters at one of the workshops I thought it would be helpful to collect advice from experienced teachers.
So here is the request. Please comment to this post with tips, tricks, advices, etc. It can be something you wish someone told you before you started or something you learned on your own. It can be related to personal or professional life. Anything you think is useful is fair game. I will consolidate the responses sometime before July 25th. Hope this can be a resource for anyone working with new teachers.
